THE TREES IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN

When we think of the Garden of Eden and we talk about the trees in the garden, two trees come to mind. The Tree of Life and the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

WAS THERE ONLY ONE TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL?

WERE SOME OF THE TREES ACTUAL TREES OR WERE THEY DEVILS?

Let’s look at some of the scriptures on this account.

Gen 2:16  And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;

Gen 2:17  but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Firstly, notice that the trees are in fact people, the sons of God, the devil seed. Read the following verses very carefully, and notice that these trees are in fact people. They are the sons of God, the devil seed.

Eze 31:9  I made it beautiful with a multitude of branches, So that all the trees of Eden envied it, That were in the garden of God.’

Eze 31:16  I made the nations shake at the sound of its fall, when I cast it down to hell together with those who descend into the Pit; and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, were comforted in the depths of the earth.

Eze 31:18  ‘To which of the trees in Eden will you then be likened in glory and greatness? Yet you shall be brought down with the trees of Eden to the depths of the earth; you shall lie in the midst of the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude,’ says the Lord GOD.”

With that in mind let’s read the following verses knowing that these trees are evil sons of God.

In the following scripture the serpent asks Eve is she forbidden to eat from all the trees?

Now we imagine that all the trees are trees with fruit on them, this is not the case. They are sons of God. The fruit is the way they live.

Gen 3:1  Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”

Gen 3:2  And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden;

The next verse is very interesting, God said don’t eat of this tree and don’t touch it. The word touch can mean to lay with a woman sexually. It is very interesting if we look at this verse with sex in mind, these devils would have found Eve very attractive and as we read on we see Eve desired them also.

Gen 3:3  but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ”

Gen 3:4  Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.

Notice if Eve ate the fruit the serpent said she would be like God.

Gen 3:5  For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

Notice what Eve was thinking…the devils were good for food, pleasant to the eyes, they were desired to make one wise…so she took of the fruit, she wanted their lifestyle, she desired to be like them. In verse 6 the word for woman can mean adulteress.

It is fairly clear in these verses that Eve desired these devils, the words used would indicate that Eve in fact did have sex with these devils. The scripture below backs this up.

Gen 3:6  So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

Gen 3:7  Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.

1Jn 3:12  not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.

Gen 4:1  Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, and said, “I have acquired a man from the LORD.”
